RWE – Responsibility towards the employees

The employees and their skills are the most important potential of the company. This is why human resource management issues are treated with significant attention at RWE Polska, RWE Stoen Operator and other RWE Group companies. It is primarily about staff development, employee motivation and friendly and creative working environment.

RWE Group employs 63 000 staff. In Poland – 1600, of which 1200 at RWE Polska and RWE Stoen Operator. To raise their qualifications andsatisfaction we provide training programmes and tools for streamlining communications and exchange of information between employees. The personnel have opportunities to gain additional skills, discover other RWE organisations and participate in international projects. The most important ones are

  • FAME” - a programme for young managers, “Discovery” - for employees with potential for further development and promotion to management positions,
  • Job rotation” – a several month long internship in one of the RWE companies,
  • Team Leaders Program” supporting development of good employees, especially those from the technical sector.

Every two years an opinion poll is conducted among the employees to learn their perception of the company. We also have an “Idea management” programme under which the staff can submit their proposals for improvements to company operations in technical, commercial and organisational areas. The “Employee of the year” contest allows us to find the most committed persons, admired by their supervisors and peers.
