In line with its long-term investment strategy, RWE is taking over from Cembrit S.A. the Heat and Water Management Plant “Izopol” Sp.z o.o. in Trzemeszno (in northern-west Poland). Investment by RWE will allow the company to grow dynamically and contribute to the development of the local heat distribution network.

RWE AG became the main sponsor of the European Film Awards, the most prestigious award presented to films on the Old Continent. The "European Oscars" will be presented on 12th of December, during celebrations of the "European City of Culture RUHR 2010" day in Bochum.

The “Wilanow” high voltage substation is the latest power facility in Warsaw. Built in 12 months at a cost of PLN 30 million, it will be put on stream on December 10th. This unmanned substation was built by RWE Stoen Operator using the latest technologies, so – despite its high significance to Warsaw electricity network – it is small in size.
